Senior Officer First Peoples, Creative Industries Development
This position in Creative Victoria will work across First Peoples grants management and program delivery across Creative Victoria, in collaboration with the First Peoples Team and community partnership group, the First Peoples Direction Circle. As well as provide administration support for current and future initiatives that foster strong First Peoples creative industries in Victoria.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate high level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to support and understand the cultural practices of Victorian First Peoples creative practitioners, together with experience in administration of grants programs, and the ability to provide strategic advice on funding for the independent creative sector, to both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational, communication, relationship building, budget management and IT skills are required in this role, alongside the ability to work independently in a complex environment and as part of a team.
