The Role
This is a rewarding and challenging opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Officer to support Creative Victoria's First Peoples policy and program deliverables and ongoing development of Creative Victoria's overall engagement with the Victorian First Peoples' creative sector.
The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of the First Peoples Team within Creative Victoria, working with the Senior Officer - First Peoples to support the Senior Manager - First Peoples in developing and maintaining key sector, community and government stakeholder relationships, policy and program design and implementation of key project deliverables.
The responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
Support the Senior Manager First Peoples in collaboration with Program Managers of First Peoples programs and sector-wide programs across Creative Victoria.
Develop and maintain relationships with Victorian First Peoples communities and creative industry stakeholders, key internal and external stakeholders and provide relevant information and advice to the Senior Manger First Peoples ensuring appropriate information flow and represent Creative Victoria confidently with external stakeholders.
Provide appropriate cultural (content) advice and advocacy across all Creative Victoria programs and work areas.
