The Victorian Government is investing in the ideas and careers of the artists and creative workers who fuel our creative state with applications opening soon for the latest round of the Creative Projects Fund.
Information about the 2026 round of the fund is now available, ahead of the program opening for applications from Thursday 19 March.
The program provides one-off investment of between $10,000 to $30,000 to support projects led by Victorian artists, creative collectives and micro-organisations.
Projects can include new creative work, professional and career development opportunities, activities designed to reach new audiences and markets, and innovative projects that break new ground.
In addition to the general program stream, Creative Projects Fund includes dedicated streams for First Peoples creatives and Deaf and Disabled creatives. All application streams will be assessed by industry experts, with the First Peoples stream assessed by First Peoples, in alignment with self-determination, and the Deaf and Disabled stream by creatives with lived experience of deafness and disability.
Applications will open on Thursday 19 March and close at Thursday 19 April. This round of the Creative Projects Fund will support projects that commence from 1 October 2026.
An online information session on the program will be held soon, details will be published on the Creative Projects Fund page as soon as possible.
