This new funding creates an overall investment of $48.7 million to keep cameras rolling on world-class local and international productions in Victoria in 2026-27 and beyond.

In 2024–25, the Victorian Government's support of our screen industry drove over $500 million in direct economic activity. This supported 8,000 local jobs and 72 screen productions across the state.

Victoria’s screen industry spans film, television, visual effects, post-production and digital games. It is built on a strong base of local creators, crew, screen businesses and infrastructure, including Docklands Studios Melbourne. The A24 project starring Daniel Kaluuya, Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel, has just finished filming at Docklands Studios, just one of the latest high-calibre productions choosing Victoria – employing over 270 Victorians and engaging more than 250 local businesses.
