Victorian musicians and venues will receive a boost with the latest round of 10,000 Gigs: Victorian Gig Fund opening on 30 January.
10,000 Gigs: Victorian Gig Fund provides grants to Victorian venues to stage paid gigs by Victorian artists.
Applications will open on Thursday 30 January to licensed live music venues anywhere in Victoria, or venues that can host live performances in outer-metropolitan or regional Victoria, such as record stores cafes, bookstores, youth centres or community halls. Venues can apply for up to $11,000 to stage up to 20 gigs.
The first round of this program supported venues across the state, including metro, outer-suburban and regional venues. Almost 1,000 gigs by local artists have already been staged with more to come,
Applications open on 30 January and close at 3pm on 27 February.
