Calling all creative leaders and thinkers. We’re seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from people with skills, experience and an interest in being appointed to a board at one of Victoria’s state-owned creative agencies.
Victoria’s state-owned creative industries agencies play a key role in Victoria’s creative and cultural life. In addition to overseeing flagship institutions and venues, they provide leadership and support the development and growth of the broader creative industries sector.
The EOI process is open to people from across the state with a passion for the creative sector and experience in relevant areas such as finance, marketing, sponsorship, fundraising, governance and more.
As part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to ensuring that government boards reflect the rich diversity of the Victorian community, we welcome applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people of all ages, women, people with disability, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and LGBTIQ+ people. Applications from rural and regional Victorian are also encouraged. It is preferred that applicants reside in Victoria however applicants from cross-border communities may also be considered.
As part of the EOI you can nominate a particular board, or boards, of interest or you can join the pool more broadly. As vacancies arise, Creative Victoria will review the pool to select suitable candidates for consideration. Interviews and referee checks may be conducted for shortlisted candidates. Recommendations for appointments are made to the Minister for Creative Industries.
Information about the EOI process and full position descriptions for board roles are now available on the Victorian Government’s Join a Public Board website. Expressions of interest must be made through the site.
