COVID-19 Financial Support

The Victorian Government provides a suite of COVID-19 funding support for Victorian businesses, including programs relevant to eligible creative businesses. Check out the following programs:

Apply now: Impacted Public Events Support Program Round Two

Offers grants of $25,000 to organisers of Tier 1 and Tier 2 events under the Public Events Framework that were approved or registered to take place between 24 June 2021 and 23 September 2021. Suppliers to Tier 1 and Tier 2 events may be eligible for a $10,000 grant under this program.

Apply now: Commercial Landlord Hardship Fund 3

Offers grants to eligible small landlords of up to $6000 per tenancy, and up to $10,000 for landlords experiencing acute hardship as a result of waiving rent for their tenant(s) between 28 July 2021 and 15 January 2022 under the Commercial Tenancy Relief Scheme.

Apply now: Small Business Digital Adaptation Program

Provides $1200 rebates so small businesses can access a range of digital business tools for 12 months.

Apply now: Commercial Tenancy Relief Scheme

Provides support to tenants and landlords facing financial hardship due to COVID-19 through a free mediation service to assist parties in reaching a fair and satisfactory agreement.

Business Costs Assistance Program grants and top-up payments

Business Costs Assistance Program Round Four provides payments to eligible small to medium businesses in sectors affected by the current restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, jointly funded by the Commonwealth and Victorian Governments.

Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021 Top-Up payments and CBD Payment
The Victorian Government has announced additional, automatic payments for businesses that have received the Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021 or Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021 July Extension. See details

Commonwealth Government’s COVID-19 Disaster Payment

In addition, support is available through the Commonwealth Government’s COVID-19 Disaster Payment. Eligible applicants can receive $200, $450 or $750 depending on the hours of work lost. See details
