17 November 2021
Creative Victoria’s First Peoples Directions Circle is about to present the Inaugural First Peoples Creative Industries Forum, with the theme of ‘Strong culture, creative future’.
A commitment of Creative State 2025, the planned annual event will celebrate and grow Victoria’s First Peoples creative industries sector.
Originally programmed as a live event at Arts Centre Melbourne, in order to keep First Peoples communities as safe as possible, the Forum will now take place as four Online Webinars to be held over two weeks in late November (details via registration link below). This will be followed by an in-person, one day Plenary Session and networking event early next year (bookings for this event will open at a later date).
The First Peoples Direction Circle who embedded Aboriginal self-determination throughout Creative State 2025, led by the guiding principle of ‘First Peoples First’, also developed the Forum program and will lead its delivery.
Free, but registration essential via Eventbrite.
