The 2019 Victorian Premier’s Design Awards are now open for entries, calling for innovative projects from across the state’s design and architectural community.

Established in 1996, the Victorian Premier’s Design Awards throw the spotlight on Victorian designers and businesses that excel in the use design to transform products, services, spaces and experiences.

Awards are presented across seven areas of design including architectural, communication, design strategy, digital, fashion, product and service as well as recognising the next generation of talent in the Tertiary Student Design and VCE Student Design categories.

All category winners go into the running for the coveted Victorian Premier’s Design of the Year, awarded to a project that exemplifies design excellence at a world class level.

The 2019 awards will be presented at a special ceremony on Wednesday 20 November at MPavillion, this year designed by Glenn Murcutt AO, Australia’s only recipient of the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize.
