Successful applicants will spend six weeks full‐time, working in the script department attending plotting meetings and contributing story ideas. The writers will also have the opportunity to create a spec script.

The call out continues the successful collaboration between Film Victoria and FremantleMedia in providing development opportunities to early career Victorian screen creatives. A four-year package will see the continued roll out of upskilling opportunities on the popular soap which films 250 episodes a year.

Successful recipients will undertake their placement in a six-week block between August and December 2018, subject to the production schedule.

Applications are now open and close 5pm Wednesday 6 June 2018. Applicants should review the eligibility criteria and guidelines before applying.
