Developed by Arts Access Victoria with support from Creative Victoria, the ARTfinder portal is set to roll out nationwide.

ARTfinder is a comprehensive online portal providing up to date information about arts activities, cultural institutions and events for people with disability.

ARTfinder will map disability-inclusive arts programs and experiences in regional and metropolitan Australia, and will be searchable by accessibility, location, cost and artform.

Participants in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will be able to find arts activities to access, and it will help NDIS Local Area Coordinators to quickly see the range of activities on offer.

The national rollout is backed by the Meeting of Cultural Ministers, a forum for the Commonwealth, state and territory arts and culture ministers to work on matters of mutual interest. It was recommended in the Evaluation of the National Arts and Disability Strategy, and agreed by the cultural ministers at their last meeting in Brisbane in September 2017.

The Victorian Government will join with other states and territories and the Federal Government to back the national roll out.
