Running throughout October, hub operators CoCreate Group have designed a three-stream program of public events, discussions and professional development opportunities to engage the community with the project.

Locals are encouraged to join the discussion about what the hub will look like, what it will be called, what creative businesses and communities it might house and support, and how the design, fit-out and building process will unfold.

Kicking off this week is ‘Ideas week’, Bendigo locals have been invited on a bus tour of other creative spaces to fuel brainstorming and ideas.

A series of professional development activities will run from 16 to 19 October as part of ‘Workshop week’—learn how to nurture and grow your creative business, brush up on your Instagram skills and network.

From 25-26 October, ‘Gathering week’ provides an opportunity to come together and make sense of the ideas and themes gathered through activities.

These activities will help shape the hub as a place where creative ideas, entrepreneurship and community can connect and flourish.
