Two sites have been identified as the future home of the artworks which will reflect on the culture, history and themes of the region.  Artists are invited to share concepts for one or both of the sites.

Site 1:

North West corner of the pedestrian mid-block crossing located between Lava and Koroit Streets.

Human Scale Artwork: 2 (h) x 1 (w) x 2 (d) metres. $40,000 (ex gst).

Site 2:

South East side of the traffic roundabout on Liebig and Koroit Streets.

Significant Scale Artwork: 3 (h) x 3 (w) x 3 (d) metres. $75,000 (ex gst).

Warrnambool City Council and Warrnambool Art Gallery (WAG) invite experienced artists to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for public artwork concepts. At this stage only preliminary concept proposals are required. A shortlist of artists from this stage will be invited to progress, and a panel of experts will select the final works.

Submit your expressions of interest for the Liebig Street Public Art Program by 5pm, Tuesday February 14, 2017.
