Victorian fashion label STRATEAS CARLUCCI makes history today as it becomes the first Australian brand to show its creations at the Milano Moda Uomo (men's fashion) component of Milan Fashion Week.

The Melbourne-based label, which specialises in non-gender conforming clothing with utilitarian and sportswear elements, is the brainchild of Peter Strateas and Mario-Luca Carlucci.

Having their creations shown at prestigious international fashion events is becoming the norm for the duo, who also took part in last year's Paris Fashion Week.  

In 2014, the pair's debut collection was unveiled at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia and the label took out the National Designer Award as part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.

STRATEAS CARLUCCI also won the Men's and Women's categories in the regional field of the International Woolmark Prize, and participated in a presentation by Vogue L'Uomoafter capturing the attention of Vogue Italia Editor-in Chief, Franca Sozzani.

Established in 2013, STRATEAS CARLUCCI has enjoyed success on a global scale, with their creations stocked in boutiques and department stores around the world.
