The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) is an initiative of the Victorian Government through Film Victoria. It was established in 2012 to strengthen ties between Indian and Victorian communities.
The objectives of IFFM are to:
- * Develop close ties between Victorian and Indian screen industries and communities
- * Promote and cultivate Victorian audiences for Bollywood and Independent Indian cinema
- * Increase industry and community awareness of Indian films and filmmaking within Victoria
- * Build Victoria's global reputation as a centre for screen production and screen culture activities.
Government funding of up to $200,000 per year will be provided for the festival, however this should represent no more than 30% of the total budget to deliver the event. The proportion of funding allocated to overheads and administration should be kept as low as possible and will be considered as part of the selection process
Organisations interested in this opportunity should direct any queries to Odilla O'Boyle at Film Victoria.
Expressions of interest close at 9am on 31 October 2016.
