The First Peoples Creative Industries Traineeships program seeks to launch the careers of young First Peoples by opening doors to exciting roles in the creative industries – spanning arts, culture, screen, design, music, digital games and more. Trainees will also complete Certificates III-IV in Business during this traineeship.

    This EOI is now closed.

Creative Victoria is seeking host organisations and businesses from across the breadth of the creative industries who are based in Victoria and can offer a 12-month placement to a young First Peoples trainee, aged 18-24 years.

Traineeships are fully funded by the Victorian Government. Host organisations will be responsible for the day-to-day costs of hosting a trainee within their organisation.

The traineeships program is delivered by ArtsReady and is an initiative of the Victorian Government’s Tharamba Bugheen: Victorian Aboriginal Business Strategy and First Peoples Action Plan for the Creative Industries.
