Using a state-of-the-art production line of low-cost, high-value 3D printers, these 3D-printed track lights consist of complex geometries impossible to manufacture with any other process. Five intricate designs were created from an ABS polymer blend and include a custom heat sink to ensure heat is dispelled from the 3D-printed outer case. The delicate forms provide an agile response to the lighting industry by affording bespoke outcomes that don’t require large investment such as that of injection-moulded plastic products. This is a smart approach to traditional track lighting design and production techniques, designed for the LimeLITE Sales and Marketing company in Melbourne.
