Brian Morris is the CEO of Melbourne Park. He has been involved in the entertainment, hospitality and venue management sectors for more than 25 years.

Brian presides over the Melbourne and Olympic Parks precinct, home of the Australian Open and numerous other major events. The precinct covers some 40 hectares of venues, sporting facilities and parks, including well-known venues such as Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne Arena, Margaret Court Arena, AAMI Park and Olympic Park. It is also the home of many of Melbourne’s best-loved sports teams.

Melbourne Park is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar upgrade that will ensure that it continues to be a world class sporting and entertainment precinct for generations to come.

Broken down into three stages over 13 years, redevelopment works are placing a strong emphasis on the comfort of patrons with more open space and shade, increased seating, better connections to public transport and the city, and easier movement to and within the precinct.

Stage 3 of redevelopment commences in early 2019 and will introduce a new function and media centre, broadcast studios and logistics hub, a 5000-seat show court and arena and completion of the central terrace that will link to the Rod Laver Arena upgrade.

The works are improving significant elements of the precinct to make it one of the world's best facilities.
