The Geelong Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) opened in 1981 and provides access to a wide range of arts experiences for audiences in the Geelong and Barwon region. GPAC promotes a wide range of performing arts activities through the hiring of its facilities, management of visiting performances, and fostering of local artists and companies.

GPAC comprises:

  • Two theatres - Playhouse Theatre (formerly the Ford Theatre) and Drama Theatre (formerly the Blakiston Theatre);
  • Several studios;
  • Meeting rooms; and
  • Catering facilities.

GPAC presents a range of performances, family events and education programs as well as one-off comedy and film events.
