67 film, television and digital media projects commenced production spending an estimated $172.9 million in the state

  • 20 feature films (including feature documentaries, interstate and international projects) leveraged $50.2 million in production expenditure
  • 28 television projects (including drama, comedy, documentary and animation projects) leveraged $119.9 million in expenditure
  • 19 games projects leveraged $2.8 million 

Supported productions created 8,068 employment opportunities for Victorians

Attendance at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image at Federation Square for 2015-16 was 2 million:

  • Website visitation was 1.8 million
  • Education programs recorded 62,732 participants
  • ACMI is custodian of the state owned collection with a value of $9.4 million
