Swell will take place at Currumbin Beach on the Gold Coast between 8 – 17 September 2017, with an expected audience of up to 275,000.

Established 15 years ago, Swell is an important platform for artists to showcase traditional and contemporary sculpture as well as installation work, on a national stage. Prizes include a major $15,000 award, with the prize pool totalling $25,000.

Participating artists will also have the opportunity to meet distinguished international, national and local artists and benefit from industry networking and profiling/promotion of their work. There will also be opportunities to participate in artists talks, both casual and formal, host workshops and sell works.

Submissions are open to professional, mid-career and emerging artists from Australian and overseas. An artist subsidy is available to assist with the cost of exhibiting.

Entries close on Wednesday 15 March 2017.
