As part of the Music Works initiative, we’ve partnered with the Association of Artist Managers (AAM) and the Independent Record Label Association (AIR) to deliver Fast Track Fellowships, a new program aimed at supporting Victoria’s music industry to build international networks.

The program will see two Victorian artist managers and two indie label owners undertake professional development opportunities at overseas music companies for a period of two months or more.

The program will set the tone for future trade, while offering new pathways for artists to break into international markets.

The Association of Artist Managers (AAM) is a membership based, not-for-profit organisation that protects, promotes and develops the reputation and interests of Australian music managers, and their artists. The AAM will open Fast Track Fellowship applications for mid-level professional, Victorian-based artist managers to apply in early-October.

AIR is a nonprofit, non-government association dedicated to supporting the growth and development of Australia's independent recording sector. AIR will open the applications for independent labels that have been in operation for a minimum of three years in late November.

Further information on the application process, selection criteria and eligibility will become available via AAM and AIR in coming months.
