Designed to support an agile, market-responsive music industry, Quick Response grants help Victorian musicians and music professionals take up unforeseen opportunities as they arise.

More than $50,000 has been allocated to support ten Victorian music industry professionals in the latest round of funding, including a $10,000 grant to support Tash's 2017 US showcase tour.

A Quick Response Grant will help emerging regional country singer/songwriter Laura Byrnes to attend the CMAA Academy of Country Music in Tamworth for mentoring, workshops and masterclasses next year, while GL and Roland Tings will receive grants to support forthcoming national tours.

Both The Bean Project and Folk Alliance Australia will be heading to the Folk Alliance International conference in the US for networking and professional development opportunities.
