ACMI X, Australia's first collaborative working space for the creative industries set up by major a cultural organisation, is seeking expressions of interest for its 12 remaining long-term co-working spaces.

A designer vision of ACMI X

Since its launch earlier this year, ACMI X has quickly developed an ecosystem fostering collaboration and experimentation, and providing professional development among co-workers and with industry through its events program.

The 60 seat co-working studio is a 2000sqm state of the art office space located in the heart of Melbourne's Southbank precinct. The facility aims to foster a rich creative culture balancing skills, ideas and creative disciplines to promote collaboration and generation of concepts.

In addition to accessing state-of-the-art office facilities, co-worker benefits include a curated events program and access to industry networking and discounted access to ACMI cinemas, media and production studios and event spaces.

Co-workers already selected for ACMI X include Arts House, Ben Laden of Little Big Shots Film Festival, Aphids, Yukfoo Animation and Cher Chod, a Chinese-Australian scriptwriter who has been selected for a one-year residency funded by the Copyright Agency Cultural Fund.
