After a triumphant White Night appearance, Pitcha Makin Fellaz are headed for a whole new spotlight.

The Ballarat art collective will design guernseys for the Western Bulldogs to wear in the AFL Indigenous Round in 2016.

Head-hunted by Brett Goodes for the commission, the Fellaz are working on a design that includes a "great black pointer" -  a play on great the white pointer. Group coordinator Peter Widmer says that it's about, "pointing the way to go."

Pitcha Makin Fellaz also made a Bulldogs canvas for the team, with team members visiting the Fellaz' Ballarat studio to add their marks to the canvas.

The Pitcha Makin Fellaz came together just a few years ago in a shed in Ballarat, to talk, share culture and tell their stories through art. They were finalists in the Victorian Indigenous Art Awards in 2014 and 2015. A number of works by the collective are held in the National Gallery of Victoria.
