As part of the $115 million Creative State funding package, $7.25 million has been added to the Organisations Investment Program (OIP) funding pool, for the 2017-2020 funding cycle.

Providing multiyear operational funding, OIP invests in organisations that make a valuable contribution to Victoria's creative and cultural ecosystem, supporting independent creative practice, business ingenuity and innovation.

The additional $7.25 million in OIP funding will be delivered in two stages:

  • Stage one - $6 million will be added to the pool of operational funding that is available to organisations for the current round of OIP now under assessment.
  • Stage two - $1.25 million will be added to the pool of funding from 2019 to 2020, and made available to OIP grant recipients that wish to apply for additional funding to support collaborative and capacity building activities.

Expressions of interest for the $1.25 million funding stream will open in 2018, with grants available for activities taking place across 2019 and 2020.

Current OIP applicants will be notified about the outcome of their applications around late June/early July 2016.
