Three Victorians have been recognised for their outstanding achievements at last week's MCV Pacific Women in Games Awards, presented by Xbox.

Three out of the four award categories were taken out by Victorian women and each local winner works out of The Arcade in Southbank, Victoria's not-for-profit, collaborative games development workspace - the first of its kind in Australia.

The Victorian award winners are:

Ambassador Award
Lauren Clinnick – Lumi Consulting, Director

Creative Inspiration Award
Kamina Vincent – Independent, Developer, Event Manager and Volunteer Coordinator

Woman of the Year Award

Giselle Rosman – Global Game Jam/Hipster Whale, Executive Producer/Business Administrator

2016 marks the second successive year that Giselle has won the Women of the Year Award, following her win at last year's inaugural event.

The MCV Pacific Women in Games Awards honour Australian and New Zealand games sector workers, with voting open to women who received peer nominations as part of the 2016 MCV Pacific Women In Games List.
