5 February 2016

Following the outstanding success of the inaugural event, Melbourne International Games Week will return from 31 October to 6 November 2016.

The first Melbourne International Games Week (MIGW) attracted almost 60,000 games enthusiasts, educators and innovators for ten days of non-stop tech. Key events included the Microsoft More Personal Computing Hackathon, Unite Melbourne 2015, the Game Connect Asia Pacific conference, an Education in Games Summit and the massive PAX AUS expo.

With leading international guests delivering keynotes and product previews, MIGW 2015 brought the world to Melbourne, honouring Victorian developers at the Australian Game Developers' Awards, uniting female game professionals at the Women In Games Lunch and exhibiting their work at PAX AUS.

MIGW 2016 is expected to be even bigger and better than its predecessor – stay tuned for more!
