Arts Centre Melbourne has revealed its new access initiative, tixatsix, which offers at least 20-tickets per show every night across its venues, at the discounted price of $30 each.

tixatsix is now operating seven nights a week from 6pm via the Theatres Building Box Office on St Kilda Road. Tickets will be subject to availability – first in, best dressed!

"We truly believe the arts is for everyone and at Arts Centre Melbourne, we exist to bring people together to share in remarkable experiences," said Arts Centre Melbourne CEO Claire Spencer.

"Through tixatsix, you'll be able turn up at Box Office each night for the chance to see Australia's, and the world's leading performers on our stages, for the cost of a premium movie ticket."

tixatsix will offer tickets for all performances taking place each night at Arts Centre Melbourne - from the Theatres Building under the Spire, which includes the State Theatre, Playhouse and Fairfax Studio, to Hamer Hall and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Performances will include all Arts Centre Melbourne Presents shows, plus performances from major presenters and collaborators across all genres of performance, including popular and classical music, classical and contemporary dance, musical theatre, opera and more.

tixatsix supports one of the key action areas of Victoria's first creative industries strategy, Creative State, which is underpinned by the principle of universal access, and seeks to engage more Victorians in cultural and creative endeavor.
