    The Organisations Investment Program offers four-year operational funding to small, medium and large organisations in the arts and cultural sector.

    The Organisations Investment Program invests in the creativity, capability and continuity of organisations that make a valuable contribution to Victoria's creative and cultural ecosystem, supporting independent creative practice, business ingenuity and innovation.

    Program purpose

    By investing in a portfolio of organisations, the Organisations Investment Program recognises and seeks to increase the cultural, social and economic value they bring to Victoria.

    The program drives:

    Arts & Cultural Sector Outcomes

    Development and diversity of art form and cultural practice

    Arts and cultural sector development and leadership

    A mix of small, medium and large organisations and a mix of new and established organisations

    Contribution to the creative and cultural profile of Victoria

    Social & Community Outcomes

    Increasing overall reach and depth of engagement

    Geographic reach of activity

    Diversity of audiences and participants

    Economic Outcomes

    Contribution to the Victorian economy

    Financial growth and sustainability of the arts and cultural sector 

    Assessment process

    Stage 1

    Creative Victoria checks the application to ensure it is eligible.

    Stage 2

    The Specialist Advisory Panel evaluates applications against the program's assessment criteria and prioritise organisations for funding.

    Stage 3

    A moderation meeting involving panel chairs and senior Creative Victoria staff review each panel's priorities and finalise the funding recommendations ensuring they are balanced overall, fit within the program budget and reflect the outcomes sought by the program.

    Stage 4

    Creative Victoria makes funding recommendations to the Minister for Creative Industries.
